I am looking at rebuilding my front end, tie rods, ball joints, bushings etc...what do you suggest I focus on to get that new truck feel?Forums : Suspension : Front end rebuild (1286 Views)

Well you might want to have your ball joints check out. Also wheel bearings if they all are shot and replace all 4 and try get them in greaseable fittings. If you want to replace the whole front end. I would suggest replace 4 ball joints, outer tie rods, inner tie rods and idler arm. I know it will not be cheap but it will help ride better and won`t wear your tires out. Make sure have alignment done when all front end replaced.May 15, 2011
shocks also and dont forget the anti sway bar mounts/links if it has one.May 15, 2011
Shocks are ok, they aren`t that old....installed with my lowering kit a couple of years ago. Ball joints, tie rods are on the list. I`ll be getting slotted rotors soon so bearing will go in with those. Do you think urethane bushings?Cars are transpotation, TRUCKS are a way of life!
