OK, spent the weekend claybarring, polishing, and waxing the outside of the truck. Even as careful as I was I got wax/polish on the plastic on the bedrails and tailgate cap. Anyone know what I can use to get the "white" off the plastic???Forums : Truck Care : Wax on plastic (3422 Views)

yea the oils in peanut butter are supposed to bring the wax to the surface so you can remove itJune 1, 2009
Go and get a White Ink Eraser

Actually, now that I think about it. If you apply the peanut butter with a special applicator (bread) then you will have a snack to go with the detailing.

If you do it soon enough just a little brush, even a stiff tooth brush, works fine. If you let it sit on there a while and bake in the sun it doesn't do as well and you need chemical help.September 2, 2010
Actually one of my friend is having the Duragloss wax remover so i was suppose to try that but i guess it will take oils off from the plastic along with the wax.So friends suggest me what should i do?
