January 27, 2009Yep - alive and well.
Life is interesting right now for me. Changes afoot -- good ones at that, despite the tricky job market.
And, to make for more fun, got my motorcycle learners today. Soon the roads will be MUCH more scarey for all those drivers.
January 27, 2009My truck isn''''t affected by wee lil motorbikes.
I''''ve had a class 6 for many years. I mostly ride on the street just to get to the trails now. Vancouver traffic would be frightening on 2 wheels now.
March 2, 2009Me still alive too lol
March 4, 2009Im still alive and well...
I had the engine out of the F350 last weekend... swapped out my known weak powdered metal rods for a set of forged rods and installed head studs while I had the heads off...

April 22, 2009Hello from the sunny south shore of Nova Scotia. Well, I survived another maritime winter (2nd one). We had lots of sunshine, a few cold days, but mostly wind, wind, wind! All the snow that was reported on the Weather Network blew into New Brunswick and up to Newfoundland. Right now it is blowing 60k, temp. is 12 and a bit rainy. I hope to take the Harley truck in to get a good dynotune and replace a few worn parts on the suspension. Other than those things, the truck still purrs along and gets me 20mpg at about 100kph.
Last weekend I saw an ''''07 Roush Stage III in Halifax - beautiful truck!
Cheers to all.
June 8, 2009Earlier in the thread I mentioned taking motorcycle training and going for my license. Finally got the license today (road test).
For those in the US and some other parts of Canada, the test is quite exactly in BC, and even with a top-notch course, it was the 3rd try before I aced it.
It helped to buy a bike to practice on, and while I rode a Virago 250 in the school and at the test, my practice was on my "new" 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit (750cc).
It''s road time!
