August 10, 2008I''m at 464 to the wheels with stock rails. They can take you a long way.
There are a lot of folks that change rails just to clean it up and give more room to the COP''s.
August 10, 2008No cops here..... are the supercharger rails the same as the n/a trucks though??? 464 wheel............. Im just over the 400 mark. Theres more but worried about that original lean spot.
I ask because i have a lean spot just as I get into it. Noticed again on my recent tune. Not sure if it just takes the sensors a second to adjust **or** what. Fuel pressure stays around 41.
August 10, 2008What tuner are you using? Tip in needs tweeking sounds like. Your fuel press sounds good also.
You may fix it if your TPS is out of whack.
That is 464 to the wheels last dyno. Now that I own it I will be playing with it some more. I do however have it pullied down for DD duty so I''m not sure what I am down to. At about 25 HP per # boost I should be right around 375-400 on the street.
August 10, 20081black - What blower setup are you running? The stock N/A and Blower rails are the same and support around the 600RWHP mark.
It sounds like you are having the same problem i had, i ended up having my FPR hooked up wrong. The FPR must be hooked up to see vacuum AND boost. I had mine hooked up so that it only seen vacuum and the max fuel pressure is around 40ish. Now i see 52 at WOT.
What fuel pump are you running also?
August 12, 2008Running a diablo predator flip chip. Tunes for n/a and nitrous. My n/a a/f stays right at 13 right across the board(3200 to 6800). Spent 5 hours tuning on a Mustang dyno last week. The lean spot can''''''''t be tuned out because it happens at whatever rpm the nitrous is dumped at. (explain adjusting tip in to me...have heard of it but don''''t think we adjusted.)Either the 02 sensors take a thou of a second to respond ***or*** we just aren''''''''t getting a true reading in that first half a second of blast.
Know what you mean by dd ran the motor up to over 420 at only 6000 rpm and went down from there. lol
Z7 using a walbro 255 pump. Not running a supercharger but built motor on Nitrous. Fuel pressure right around the 40 mark like yours so thinking I might have done the same thing.
Now....... how did you hook up your regulator wrong. I would love to solve this.

August 12, 2008Well with you not having a blower im not sure. Never used *or* been around gas with these trucks.
