May 17, 2005Which kind of bull bar are you looking at? There are different brands that go on different ways. If possible, attach a pic of which one you are looking at.
May 17, 2005i'm looking for a bull bar also westin has a bull bar that you can leave the toe hooks on
May 17, 2005I thought you had to remove your tow hooks with the Westin Bull Bar.
May 17, 2005well i know with my bull bar tow hooks wouldn't be able to work in conjunction. my truck didn't come with tow hooks so i didn't have to worry about it. And the hooks that came with the bull bar from westin hung down so low i ripped them off off-roading. so i just fabed up some out of angle 3/8" angle iron and they work perfect. up higher too.
May 20, 2005the ultimate bull bar by westin required removal of my tow hooks.
(but i'm also running 3" body lift.
May 20, 2005Yeah, with the Westin Ultimate Bull Bar, you have to remove your tow hooks. There is a bracket that bolts on using your existing tow hook bolt holes. This bracket goes in the place of the tow hooks and you attach the Bull Bar to those brackets. Really simple install. I did mine in about 30 minutes.
