October 4, 2003They won't pull you over for it, it's not a violation, it's jaust the name ford gave the car. Heck, most of the taxi's in chicago are either ordered with the package or are bought used from departments, so they all have the badge on them.
October 4, 2003Well so much for painting it black and white and adding a lightbar and interceptor badges. If it won't prevent me from getting pulled over
October 19, 2003My mom's got a P71 Crown Vic Police Interceptor, but it's only a 235 hp 4.6 V-8 and it moves pretty good for it's size, so I'd love to see what that V-10 can do. Hell, I know what a basic V-10 in my 3/4 ton does, let alone in a car that's more than a whole ton lighter.

October 25, 2003when i was a young police in 19 and 71 we drove 70 plym fury 3 s with the 440 ci engine. went like a bat out of hell, however it wouldnt stop worth a darn, it had drum brakes all around. We also had Goodyear Blue Streak bias ply tires .
The fastest and best handling cop car i ever had was a 1995 Chevy caprice. It had a LT-1 motor and it ran very very quickly. It also handled like it was on rails and stopped fantastic with 4 wheel discs.
Now that I have 33 plus years on the job(actually my third police job)
(I have two retirement checks) we have front wheel drives chevys. I ride a trek mountain bike as a bike cop.
The v-10 crown vic looks really cool and very very fast. I thought ford put a v-10 in its trucks?
No matter how fast it will go , I as a county police helicopter pilot, ( the army trained me to fly very well a long time ago) would still be faster.
you know not having to worry abut roads and such.
the concept still looks neat cant wait to drive one.
