October 10, 2008Sunday I jumped in the truck, drove to church (no problems) after service jumped in the truck and she didn''t want to start. Sounded like she wasn''t getting gas, so after the third attempt, I moved the gear shift to D then back to park and retried it, still didn''t fire. So on the fifth she fired right up. I drove her home and all was good until yesterday after work, when I started her up she did it again, so I moved the gear shift and tried and it did not start. So on the third attempt, I pressed in on the gas and she fired right up, and so far is ok. I checked the air filter, and it is fairly new, looked good, I am wondering if I need to clean the Mass Air Sensor, *or* have the fuel filter replaced? I think the fuel filter has about 20k on it, and I have never cleaned the MAS but maybe the dealer had when she was in for scheduled maintenance. I have about 44k on the truck, yes I live close to work and don''t drive her alot.
