March 31, 2008Hey I'm new and i dont own a truck yet. I really want one and have been looking for awhile and planned on waiting until i graduated college and had a full time income. then i came across this online and figured it was to good to be true but i gave it a shot anyways. I found a 200 F-150 Harley Editon posted with 3726 miles for $4300. I beleive this is to good to be true. I emailed the guy and he emailed me back with this enmail:
My name is Sgt Robert Sanders, I work in US army.
First of all I want to thank you for your recent interest in my 2000 FORD F150 HARLEY TRUCK MODEL 20 CHROME .
The car is in absolutely perfect condition, no scratches,no engine problems or other imperfections. Never suffered any accidents. The price is $4300 with shipping included. I'm selling the car at this price because I opened a new retail business one year ago and it's taking more money than we expected.
The car is in Norfolk, VA.
Usually shipment takes maximum 2 to 6 days depending on your location and will be fully insured against damages, shipped in a crated container.....on my cost!!
As a shipping career I will use Globe Transport, all the shipping/handling and insurance charges are included in the sale price. You will get the package with all the papers, clear title, bill of sale signed by me as well.
If you agree with my above terms, I'm sure that we can close the deal as soon as possible.
I will wait your email.
When i orginally emailed him i thought the truck was here in mass. Here are some pictures he also sent:
I'm just wondering if you guys think this could possibly be a good deal or if he is scamming me. i emailed him back saying that i would have to come and see the truck in person before i ever bought it.
Please let me know what you think.
