November 10, 201110 years in Alaska took it`s toll on the bolts and one broke and now I have a leak on right side. When I fix it, I would like to put a set of long pipe headers on but I can`t find any for a 2001 F-150/ 5.4 with ATI procharger. Will this warp the head if I wait for my piggy bank to get fatter. I don`t know how far it is broken and if it can be WD-40`d and come out or if it`s a drill and counter tap job. I`m in the Watauga Tx area. Any auto parts shops that you have had good luck with here? Also any recommendations on the headers?

November 11, 2011The Long tube headers are very easy to find.
Anything that fits a Gen2 Lightning will fit your F-150!
Stanless steel= Dynateach..Kooks..JLP and LFP sell headers to fit. Also OBX on ebay have them.
Cheep steel= Pacesetter from summit racing. But for your area , I would recommend the SS headers.
As for you broken stud. After getting the manifold off,you may be able to get it out. Some guys weld a nut on the stud to get it out after removing the exhaust manifold.
