June 13, 2011I was checking out the door lable on the wifes suzuki xl-7. It reccomended 26 psi in the front and 32 in the rear. Why different pressures for front and rear?

June 13, 2011I would assume for load compensation. They might figure you`ll carry stuff in the back.
My F350 label says 55 / 80. Although, running empty I run them at 65psi all the way around. When I tow my 5th wheel I take the back tires up to 80.

June 13, 2011yup, it`s a truck, they are anticipating having stuff in the bed. I run all mine around 30-32, when I load the rear up I take them up to the max PSI (if it`s heavy)
honestly for PSI, tire chalk is the best stuff. 5 minuets of work and you`ll have the perfect tire pressure.
June 13, 2011must not be a consitent thing with different vehicles. My truck says 35 all around. Please enlighten me on the tire chalk.
