January 24, 2011I have a 2007 crew cab FX2 and have been noticing the brake pedal pulsating while braking. The fluid level is ok and the rotors appear to be ok. What do you all think is causing this to happen? Thanks in advance, Sammy

January 24, 2011rotors are warped, you cannot tell by looking at them because it only takes thousandths of an inch which cannot be detected by the naked eye to cause the pedal to pulse.
January 24, 2011If I replace the rotors, are the speed sensors in the rotors? How hard is this to do? I have done rotor changes on a few vehicles before, just not sure about the speed sensor thing...
January 24, 2011Replacement rotors will have the timing ring for the speed sensors.
January 24, 2011DF5.4 is right, no need to be worry about the sensor.
what causes a rotor to warp is everyday wear, hard braking, city driving or if the rotors have been turned from a previous brake job which makes them thinner and warp easy. basically too much heat causes a rotor to warp.
