January 18, 2010I have a 04 F-150 with 2" leveling kit, 2" block in rear and a 3" body lift on 35`s. Does anyone have a gooseneck hitch on their truck with a body lift?

January 18, 2010Your gooseneck should be mounted to the frame not the box. So assuming that it was done right it should be structurally strong enough to accomidate the lift difference of 3 inches, but I have seen some amazing stupidity with used trucks and the things people have done to them.
July 30, 2010Umm I am going to say you shouldn`t. Hers why. There are the goosneck hitches that have the rails in the bed but still bolt to the frame. and there are the under bed mount ones such as b&W the leave nothing in the box. So with a 3" body lift the under bed mount is not going to ork case your box is 3" higher then it should be so the ball is not going to reach through. Now you could mount an in bed rail style but you are going to need to get some real heavy gauge steel to fill that 3" gap between the frame and the bed. I would suggest actaully welding the heavy steel to you frame. If I was you there would be no way I would do it I would just stick to tag trailers.
