It depends on what you are planning on getting. No matter what you do to the truck the factory weight rating are what they are.
You need to find out the GCWR of the truck. I think it's 12,500 lbs. Then the weight of the truck. Subtract that from the GCWR and that's the heaviest the trailer can weigh. That's overly simplified but it gives you a starting point.
Anything you do to the truck will make tow a trailer easier but you can't change the factory ratings.
Intake, exhaust, headers, e-fans, tuner/chip, gears will help with power. Air bags, tranny cooler, brake upgrades will help handle the load.
