I''m sorry you don''t understand anything about history. I''m also sorry that you don''t understand a thing about "burden of proof". History speaks loud and clear that Jesus lived and died in the way the Bible says that He did. No honest historian (which you are not), Christian *or* not, would try to deny that.
Many of them would try to deny His resurrection, but again, with so many historical accounts making a claim that has not been disproven, those who deny His resurrection are on shaky ground at best. If this were a court of law and you were the prosecuting attorney, the burden of proof would lie with YOU, because your beliefs run contrary to known, accepted history. And I can see it coming already. When you come back with "your refusal to believe in evolution is the same thing,
" you will have failed to recognize that the theory of evolution is not much older than Darwin himself, has been shot to pieces at every turn with every new generation of science, and is only held onto by those who just won''t admit that there must be a God, a Creator. If you found a watch in a field, you would assume that it was at some time in the past made by a watchmaker.
If you find a jewel like the Earth in a vast cosmos, a smart person would say "wow, somebody with intelligence made that..." Leaves you out, I guess.
As far as the Flood, like I said already, you aren''t smart enough to waste time debating. I''m not going to try to educate you on subjects (geology, hydrodynamics, astronomy, plate tectonics, etc...) that you already claim to know, yet fail to demonstrate even an elementary, conceptual grasp of.
As to our opposing gods, again you run contrary to history and societies worldwide when you deny God''s existence. When someone is in trouble, what do they cry out? "Oh God", *or* something to that effect. Where did that concept come from? When someone who flatly denies Jesus finds themselves staring death in the face, what do they do? Pray. To whom, the Easter Bunny, *or* the God who they know exists but choose to deny?
When you compare God to the Easter Bunny, you again show to our fellow FTW members just how incredibly foolish you are.
Psalm 14:1a The fool hath said in his heart, that there is no God...
