Do you know that the speed of light is slowing down, has been ever since it could be measured? Did you not read where I posted that astronomers absolutely CANNOT explain redshift? DO you not understand that, in order for your comment to be true, the Big Bang would have to be the source of the universe, and the catalyst for it''s expansion? Do you not understand the myriad of problems with the Big Bang theory? Do you know what uniformitarianism means, and the fact that it is crucial to old-earth geologists'' beliefs, yet it isn''t true?
I posted all this stuff, I''m sorry that you couldn''t both read and understand it, that''s not my problem. You don''t understand the major problems with your beliefs, the problems that those who KNOW won''t admit to knowing. And I''ve told you why, not my fault that you don''t believe that. Your refusal to believe in God doesn''t mean He isn''t there. And you brought "religion" to this discussion, not me.
Furthermore, your explanation of the age of the universe is way off. Like I said a hundred times, ASTRONOMERS KNOW many of the problems with the BB, expansion of the universe, and so on. They know the problems are there, but they don''t understand them.
Go to Wiki if you must, and look up Age of the Universe. The problems are well-known. Sorry you don''t see that. Go to Expansion of the Universe, too. Same thing there. They use the term Cosmological Constant, instead of the statement "We don''t flippin'' know".
River Rat, what did you call me on? I''m more than happy to debate whatever it is. But, I said from the start that my belief takes an act of faith, WHICH I ADMIT TO. Then you absurdly ask me to prove that God has always been, as if I was there in the beginning. Come on! That was a joke, right?
And your comment about cutting and pasting skewed facts: again, you tell me how they''re skewed. I have no problem telling you how they''re not.
Very few of my arguments are cut-and-paste. I won''t pretend that I haven''t done a lot of research to bolster my arguments, and I''m no scientist. I just read, compare, study, and retain information.
I don''t know how many times you two are going to dodge the tough questions, but it''s getting really old. I asked Plane some very pertinent questions over a month ago, and I''ve been answered with silence.
