November 18, 2008I am wanting to get a supercharger for my 02 f150 5.4l. I can get a 03 Harley take off for a really good price. It includes the blower, intercooler, intake maifold, throttle body, 42# injectors, intake tube and sensors. What else would I need to make the kit complete?
November 18, 2008You''''''''''''''''ll need a few more parts and a tune for your computer to make it all work.
IMHO that''''''''s the best blower setup for the 2V 5.4!

November 20, 2008Wayne, Phil...need some help
The old supercharger it I was looking at didnt go through but I did find a new one. It is a Lightning take off complete assembly. The person selling it states that it will only fit a 99-2000 model F150 lightning because the bolt pattern on the supercharger changed in 2001, I was not aware of this, is it true?
November 20, 2008I posted in your other tread too.
Does the take up include the manifold? If so you dont have to worry about anything.
The blower to manifold pattern is different but the manifold to the heads are the same.
November 20, 2008Wayne, the kit does include the manifold, I think everything should be good to go. I will email you a link to it if thats cool.
November 20, 2008Yep, it sure does include it which means it will bolt to your truck. Now start saving for all the other things needed. BTW, i would see about doing the PCV and EGR delete for a couple reasons cheaper, cleaner look, easier to change plugs, and dont have to worry about oil clogging the intercooler.
November 22, 2008Hey Wayne how many miles did you have on your truck when you did your L swap? Does everything perform well?
November 22, 2008Had like 75K on the truck. Now i got a few miles shy of 90K. Everything performs perfectly, just like a stock truck just with alot more power. I have NO problem spinning the **** out the 38''s from a dig.
Its all in your tune, find somebody good to tune it. My tuner is Sal @ Power Surge Performance in Florida. Yes, i drove 650 miles ONE WAY to get my truck tuned its that important. I made a vacation out of it!.
