September 10, 2008I have a Lund Bug Guard/Hood Protector thingy on the front of my truck. It is a clear one. Recently, while working on the truck, I had it nosed into the garage and had the hood up. After completing the work, I backed up a little bit before realizing that bug guard was up against the bottom-side of the garage door. Upon closer inspection, the guard now has some scratches in it. Yes, it''s much better than having scratches in the paint, but.....I''m a little anal about the looks of my truck even though I know it isn''t a show truck by any means, but I want it to look good. In reality, most people probably wouldn''t notice them, but I''m not most people since I know they are there.
So...my question: Is there a procedure / product that I can follow / use to rub these out without causing further issues with the guard? I don''t have a pic showing the scratches.
Thanks in advance!!
