September 6, 2008I have a 1993 Ford F150 with 70,150 miles on odometer. Have had this truck all of its life and it is now causing some difficulty in starting. When truck is cold it fires in less than a second. However, after driving and going into a store, etc., which I guess warms engine up it is hard to start thereafter. The starter must turn engine several times before it fires up to run. It did not used to do that and I have had it to a Ford dealership in town and also took it to an independent garage. Ford told me nothing was wrong with the way it started which cost me over $100. Have any readers seen this problem and/*or* have a cure. Many thanks!!
