July 20, 2008I just put about 2,500 lbs in my truck this weekend and it made my truck squat pretty good. Anyone know what the capacity is?

February 22, 2009I''d guess somewhere around 1500 lbs *or* less. The rear axle it''s self is rated at 4,500 lbs at the ground however tires and rims are the issue.
March 6, 2009On your door post. You will find your GVWR. That number minius the curb weight of the truck is your payload. So if the GVWR is like mine 7050lbs, and your truck weighes 5200lbs. Then your payload is 1850lbs. As you won''''t be putting all that at one end, and if your tires are rated for 2100lbs. They will not be limiting factor. 4x21=8400
All 150 configurations have a different GVWR. You need to find what yours is. all weigh different as well. You will need to do the math.
I''m betting if you dropped 2500lbs on it. You were over your GVWR.
also. Im your manual. You will find your GCVWR. That minius the weight of the truck loaded to go. Is what it will tow.
