February 10, 2007I have one of about every work light Home Depot sells. The big tripod one is great and so are the little singles. Just remember not to touch the bulbs when you put them in.
As far as gloves just get what ya like they have a bunch.
February 17, 2007best gloves i ever had are made by ironclad. they're cold climate gloves that are kinda like mechanix gloves but the joints and palms are reinforced and they've got some dupont fabric in them that is supposed to block out wind and water. it's not goretex but don't remember what it's called. they're kinda pricey but i've had them for over a year and they're still in pretty good shape. i wear them at work and for about everythign else. got them at fastenal, pretty sure you could order them online though.
February 18, 2007Any of the halogen lights I would think would be ok. I have a set on the tripod that are Craftsman.
As for gloves, Totally depends on what you are using them for. I have Elkskins and LOVE them!!! But I also have some IR mechanics gloves, some Cabelas Gortex hunting gloves, some brown jersy gloves, some black insulated buckskin gloves. I like them all, just for different purposes.
Best advise I can give is get some that YOU like that fit you good!!!
April 6, 2007used to work there.....buy all the lights contractor grade, dont buy the cheap or 'middle of the road' crap cuz it will just break on ya, and for gloves, the last time I check they have a pair of mechanic type gloves called 'goucho' or something like that, anyways they were black and they had gray padding on the knuckles, their like 30 bucks but they are really nice gloves
