November 1, 2004I've read back through old posts and alot of people have gas powered pressure washers, not to much is mentioned about the electric variety. I've been thinking about - http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=1717304&cat=4091&type=1&dept=5428&path=0%3A5428%3A4091%3A4338 - this one. I don't need alot of power, and right now I can't justify spending twice that on a gas powered. I'll mostly using it for washing cars, a rv, and vinyl siding. Any recommendations, or things I should look for? Thanks in advice.

November 1, 2004Any units you can buy at the local hardware store or wally world are not rated for commercial applications. This may not mean anything to the average Joe who uses his 3 x a year.
If you are truely going to be using urs more than 10 x a year on various projects I would recommend going to an automotive store or commercial place that sells them for commercial applications...they will last longer believe me.
Difference between the two are in the pump.....brass instead of poly parts, thicker and larger seals etc.
