Thanks guys for letting me know! I was about not to do it thinking he was overcharging!
Here's the deal. My friend, the one that I had my hood shipped to (he owns a business), had two of his 1969 Camaro's painted there. Giving the man over $5,000 in business. Well, both of his camaro's (father and son's) look awesome, beside one little fisheye on the lower rear qtr. panel on one of the cars. The man also painted my sisters ranger when she wrecked it, and has painted everyones car when they wreck it around here. He rarely gets a call back to get one re-done. SO, my friend insisted on me letting him paint it instead of me and my buddy. So, he called and asked the guy, and said he recommended him etc, etc. The painter first quoted $150 plus paint+materials because he knew my friend so well. That is INCLUDING all prep work. But, not removal/installation, as I will be doing that myself. Then he said, well, how about just saying $200 including paint, because my buddy told him that I was on a very tight budget
, which I am. So, first thing tomorrow morning, well this morning, LOL, I am going to call the guy and confirm $200 for the paint-job including prep. If it is a go, he will have it painted in 3 days. OH SON! I can't wait!
Thanks again fellas!
