I found a set of wheels in the local classifieds that are advertised to be 16x8 with 4.625 backspacing.

I am not too familiar with offset and backspacing but from what I gather, 4.625 (4-5/ BS would put the mounting surface towards the outboard (front) side of a 16x8 wheel. This would also be considered "positive offset", right? These would not be considered "deep dish" wheels in the traditional sense, right?

In order to get a 16x8 wheel that appeared deeper or moved the tire centerline outward, I would need to get BS of less than 4" or "negative offset", right?
